Assistant Rector, St. Paul's, Rock Creek - St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, Rock Creek parish is looking for a full-time Assistant Rector who will report directly to the Rector and share fully in the liturgical and pastoral life and ministry of the church through the celebrating of the Eucharist, preaching, and teaching. The Assistant Rector will also have specific responsibility for Christian Education, Pastoral Care and Evangelism. We offer a 2-year contract. The compensation package includes a competitive salary, health and life insurance, 401K and contribution Church Pension Fund.

Assistant Rector, St. Margaret’s, DC (Full-Time) Parish in Washington, DC seeks, Assistant Rector who will work collaboratively with the Rector as part of two-person clergy team serving an active and growing urban parish. The Assistant will be charged with development of lay leadership and program oversight in ministries of Welcome/Incorporation, Youth and Young, Adult Christian Formation, and Evangelism.  The Assistant will be asked to build new programs and strengthen existing ministries in these areas.  The Assistant will also share in preaching, administration of the Sacraments, pastoral duties and all other aspects of priestly ministry. Youth Missioner, Diocese of Easton: The Episcopal Diocese of Easton is seeking an energetic individual committed to nurturing the faith of our young people for the full time position of Youth Missioner. The Youth Missioner’s function is to help the diocese, parishes, and the diocesan camp create, develop and support effective youth ministries – engaging youth from k through college age in the gospel of Christ.  This position’s time will be allocated 2/3’s to the diocesan youth mission program and 1/3 as a camp programming supervisor. Qualifications for this position include and college degree, experience in conducting youth ministry in diocesan, parish and/or camp environments, knowledge of Christian education curricula, strong communication and organizational skills. Development Director: In partnership with the Executive Director (ED), Samaritan Ministry of Greater Washington seeks an outgoing, competent and full-time professional to serve as Director of Development (DD) to engage and inspire others in our mission through the sharing of time, talent and treasure. The DD is oversees all fundraising activities of SMGW including strategic fundraising planning (10%); individual giving campaigns, sponsorship and major gift solicitation (40%), grant-writing (40%) and event-related planning (10%). With the ED, the DD cultivates, engages and recognizes individual and institutional donors as well as partner organizations.
