Development Director: The Bishop Walker School will work in concert with the Executive Director, governing board, and development committee. He/she will be responsible for designing and directing the implementation of a comprehensive fundraising plan with annual goals, objectives, and strategies for fundraising programs directed at individuals, foundations, corporations, and religious institutions. Development Director: In partnership with the Executive Director (ED), Samaritan Ministry of Greater Washington seeks an outgoing, competent and full-time professional to serve as Director of Development (DD) to engage and inspire others in our mission through the sharing of time, talent and treasure. The DD is oversees all fundraising activities of SMGW including strategic fundraising planning (10%); individual giving campaigns, sponsorship and major gift solicitation (40%), grant-writing (40%) and event-related planning (10%). With the ED, the DD cultivates, engages and recognizes individual and institutional donors as well as partner organizations. The DD coordinates the design of development publications and oversees key fundraising events. The DD manages one full-time paid staff and several ad hoc volunteers.
