Alternatives for Simple Living is a non-profit organization that equips people of faith to challenge consumerism, live justly and celebrate responsibly.

Bethel Series uses an historical approach to the Hebrew-Christian heritage of faith with an overview of the Old and New Testaments.

Disciples of Christ in Community (DOCC) is an adult education program which provides an experience in building Christian community while encouraging individual spiritual growth.

Education for Ministry (EfM) is a four-year program of theological education which covers the basics of the Old and New Testaments, church history, liturgy, and theology. Kerygma provides a variety of adult Bible studies, including studies of specific themes, books of the Bible, or the Bible as a whole.

Leader Resources provides leadership and adult education resources covering topics such as Church Growth; Current Events; Life Cycles; Liturgy; Mission and Ministry; New Members; Pastoral Concerns; Scripture; Spirituality. The "Adult Journey" mirrors the Journey to Adulthood Youth Program.

Lesson Plans for Small Congregations follow the Revised Common Lectionary for young children, older children, and adults.

Living the Good News Episcopalian Adult study materials encourage spiritual growth and the application of faith principles to everyday life. Ideal for study groups, small Christian communities or individual study.

Confirmation

The Discovery Series: A Christian Journey includes five courses, each with a video, facilitator's guide and participants' guide, designed to provide comprehensive training for baptism, confirmation, spiritual gifts assessment, discipleship and worship

Encountering Christ: An Intergenerational Faith Experience. Charlotte N. Molrine and Ronald C. Molrine. (Morehouse 1999). The 14 sessions in this curriculum include exercises on the Bible, the Prayer Book, the Church, symbols, Christian beliefs, prayer, and "Who is Jesus."

Foundations for Mature Faith: An Adult Inquirers' Series (Seedlings) is an 8-session course with lessons on worship, sacraments, scripture, Jesus, the Church, Christian living and Christian hope.

I Will with God's Help . Mary Lee Wile. (Living the Good News) is built on the Baptismal covenant and features interactive journals for youth and adults

Keeping the Promise: A mentoring Program for Confirmation in the Episcopal Church. Andrew D. Parker (Morehouse 2000) is a 9-session journey of faith for the mentor and confirmand, including lessons on scripture, sacraments, spiritual life, the Church, ministry and turning points in life.

Making Disciples. A New Approach to Confirmation. William Willimon. This is a non-denominational mentoring program with sessions on God, the Holy Spirit, Jesus, scripture, spiritual life, saints, baptism, death and dying.

Eucharist

Living Bread: Exploring Communion - by Stephen Cottrell & Leslie J. Francis, Morehouse. Background discussions of ideas and symbolism of the Eucharist; designed for teacher or group leader; could be used by a group of adults; the final chapter is for the local church to discuss its own habits and ritual.

The New Church's Teaching Series presents and explores basic claims and questions about the Christian faith and the Episcopal Church, revealing the distinctive vision Anglicanism offers for the people of God today. Each book includes a study guide and a list of additional resources and is suitable for group study or individual use.
