Visitations Sunday visits to congregations
Each Sunday the bishop visits one of the congregations in the Diocese. The rector/vicar and the vestry have provided information on its programs and parish life ahead of time, so that the bishop may fully enjoy and participate in the Sunday worship life of the congregation. Bishop Chane's visits are first and foremost pastoral visits. As such, it is appropriate for the bishop to preach and/or preside at the Eucharist when invited to be with a congregation on a Sunday morning. If you are a rector or vicar and the Bishop is visiting your congregation soon, read this important information.
