At their December 2007 meeting the members of the Commission on Ministry approved an initial draft of guidelines for the discernment of a call to the diaconate. The COM will be holding three public hearings in February. Dates, times and location are listed below. In addition the Commission on Ministry welcomes public comment in written form. These comments may be sent by email to Mary Sulerud, canon for deployment and vocational ministry at msulerud@edow.org or George McConnell assistant for deployment at gmcconnell@edow.org or by USPS. Comments should be submitted by March 3, 2008.
