Become Part of This Joyful Ministry
You've embraced the retreat experience. Is it time to share this profound experience with others? The Diocesan Retreat Committee (DRC) invites you to become a committee member. We currently need volunteers to:

  • Serve as liaison for web communications. This includes the collection and posting of information related to ongoing retreats.
  • Serve as a treasurer trainee. The duties for this financial volunteer include processing funds for 2 retreats annually and scholarship fund, as well as analyze and advise on costs, and develop the budget.
  • Serve as general committee members as we explore creative ways in which to expand the offerings and service to the Diocese. Representation from members outside the beltway is particularly needed.

Please contact Ann Talty at Church House atalty@edow.org or (202)537-6548 to discuss this opportunity, or contact the chair, Beth Frank, at oh2bfrank@aol.com

Silence is the place where the Spirit is made known to us, where we find rest and renewal for our weary souls.

Silence...

  • Silence leads us away from the activity of this world
and draws us into the heart of God.
  • Silence drowns out the noise of phones and faxes
and allows us to hear the still small voice of God
  • Silence is the place where the Spirit is made known to us.
  • Silence is where we find rest and renewal for weary souls.
