Eligibility
Health and dental insurance is available to clergy and lay professionals employed in the Diocese of Washington who meet the following eligibility requirements:
- Salaried (exempt) clergy and lay employees
- Hourly employees working a minimum of 1000 hrs per year
- Dependents up to age 30 if living at home or enrolled as a full-time student
- Retired employees under age 65
- Surviving spouses, domestic partners and dependents
- Employees who are on short-term or long-term disability
- Non-Medicare eligible spouses of retired employees
- Interim rectors, priests-in-charge, diocesan-sponsored missioners, and others engaged in official ministry of the Diocese of Washington
To enroll in the health plan, please complete the enrollment form (see right column of this page) and return it to Kathleen Hall or fax to 202-537-2385 attn: Kathleen Hall.
