Children to Children Campaign

This year's offering will support children in the Diocese of Niassa (northern Mozambique) in our project "Let's Plant a Garden".  Your support will provide funds to purchase tools and seeds for the children there to start their own family gardens and grow healthy foods.  While most families there gorw their own food - some can't grow enough or don't have the seeds for more nutritious foods to improve their health.  For $1, you can buy seeds to grow such foods as cabbage, tomato or pumpkin.  For $5, you can buy a watering can and $10 will help a family start a garden.

The Hunger Fund

Contribute to this ministry, which provides grants to programs that feed those faced with hunger and malnutrition in the geographical area of the Diocese of Washington. These grants frequently spell success to programs experiencing shortfalls.

Maciene Well Project

Contribute to the digging of a well to support the bakery and vegetable garden of the Mothers’ Union at the Cathedral in Maciene, Mozambique. The Southern Africa Partnership has been able to raise support for the completion of the bakery and support of the garden and the only missing link is the well.
