St. Barnabas' Episcopal Church of the Deaf

St. Barnabas' serves the deaf and hard-of-hearing community in the District of Columbia and nearby Maryland. Our worship services are in American Sign Language. Holy Eucharist is given weekly at St. John's Norwood in Bethesda, Md. St. Barnabas' also provides a campus ministry at Gallaudet University in Washington, DC.

Our church provides accommodations for the hearing impaired: This is a deaf church and services are fully signed. All are welcome: sign-to-voice interpreting for hearing non-signers available upon request.

Our services, parish hall and bathrooms are easily accessible by people in wheelchairs and who have difficulty walking. Disabled parking available in St. John's parking lot.
