Listserv
At the April meeting of the Parish Administrator/Secretary's group we established a Diocesan-sponsored listserv for the exchange of information among parishes in the diocese. For more information and to sign up for the list, parish secretaries and administrators are invited to go to http://lists.edowmail.org/mailman/listinfo/parishadmins
Group
Since the group was founded in September 2003 by Eric Gustafson and George McConnell, administrators for St. Patrick's and St. David's respectively, we have the beginnings of a solid network for sharing information, establishing a spirit of fellowship and providing feedback to the diocese regarding parish needs. Through discussions with Church House staff we have begun automating some of the forms and procedures used by all of the parishes in the diocese. Our members are beginning to share documents like Microsoft Word templates for confirmation cards and the confirmation report that goes to the diocese. As new documents are created secretaries and administrators will learn about them with a message from the “parishadmins” listserv.

This form should be completed and returned by the congregation after the visitation confirming how many were confirmed received or reaffirmed together with their names and religious affiliation if applicable. Data from this form is included and published in the annual diocesan Journal.
