Welcome! Whether you are a new senior/junior warden or vestry member or an experienced one facing a new situation, we hope you will find information that will be of help to you in your ministry.

The diocesan Web site offers much information that will be of help to you. You will find links to some of the more relevant parts of the site in the sections that follow. We also hope that you will be an active participant in the development of this section of the site. If there are additional topics that you would like to see addressed, please let us know by e-mailing wardens@edow.org.

A Prayer for Wardens
Almighty God, by your grace you have called us into your service as wardens and stewards of your church; guide and direct us in our mission and ministry in Christ. Grant that, using the resources and tools provided by you, we may be leaders, pastors, comforters, and helpers to our clergy and people. Grant us wisdom to know when to lead and when to follow and help us know and do what is right in your sight. We pray for spiritual growth in our individual congregations and in the Body of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. We ask this for Christ's sake. Amen.
