Local Congregational Development Resources

The following information is available to assist congregations with finding resources and assistance with congregational development:

Diocesan Consultants Network
Members of the network extend the ministry of the bishop in specialized service to the congregations of the diocese. The ministries they offer include facilitating vestry retreats, leading strategic planning processes, assisting with Mutual Ministry Review, leadership development, Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, transition counseling, appreciative inquiring and vision development, team building, conflict management, mediation, training design and delivery, coaching, clergy/vestry relations and effective meeting planning. Latino Ministry
The Latino Ministry Committee of the diocese if responsible for initiating and supporting ministries among Spanish speakers especially in those areas of the diocese where demographics show the highest concentration of Latinos. The committee offers an annual Latino Festival, provides support to the Part-time Diocesan Latino Missioner, brings together members of the various nested congregations of the diocese, and with the bishop gathers all persons interested in ministry with Spanish speakers for an annual Latino Consultation.
