Attendees choose one morning and one afternoon session, however Planned Giving is a full day. There should be time during lunch and after the conference to visit the Cathedral bookstore. Worship opportunities will also be available.

Keynote: John Vernon Oaks is the Associate for Parish Life, St. Paul 's Episcopal Church, Indianapolis , IN. He is also the Stewardship Officer for The Episcopal Diocese of Indianapolis. His background includes growing up on a small Alabama farm, acting and singing on Broadway, serving in the U.S. Army (as enlisted and officer), being number one in sales for an international corporation, being the father of three grown children and being his bride's groom for 44 years. He is a board member of TENS, The Episcopal Network for Stewardship. His hobbies include a Miata sports car and his therapy dogs. He also serves on the board of Paws and Think, Inc., a non-profit that uses canines to enrich the lives of adults and children with special needs.

Marketing Your Parish: Jim Naughton, Canon for Communications and Advancement, has worked for the Diocese of Washington since 2002, and written extensively on religion. Jim began his career as a sportswriter for The New York Times. He has covered baseball for the New York Daily News , and has written news and features for The Washington Post. Naughton is the author of three books including Catholics in Crisis .

Stewardship Annual Appeal: David Lewis has a strong background in organizing and empowering volunteers and staff. David brings to the table more than 30 years of experience as a fundraising and management consultant and staff executive. David has worked with development and fundraising planning studies, capital campaigns and annual giving increase programs for over three dozen associations, churches, foundations and schools.

Stewardship and Christian Formation: Dontie Fuller, Associate for Children, Youth & Family Ministries at St. Paul 's Episcopal Church in Indianapolis , Indiana . In 2004, Dontie received her Master of Arts in Christian Education from Virginia Theological Seminary. Ms. Fuller, a ten-year veteran in Christian Education, has also served as Christian Education Director at Christ Church Cathedral, Indianapolis and at Christ Church , Detroit , Michigan .

Planned Giving: Glenn Holliman joined the Episcopal Church Foundation's staff in July 2005 to expand its previous Philanthropic Services program, now Giving Services. In addition to planned giving and investment management services, the Foundation now provides capital campaign and annual giving consulting to Episcopal churches, dioceses, schools and other agencies.
