Mary (Malawi)
The crèche from Malawi was carved from myangatange and muwale woods and was created not far from the capital city of Lilongwe , near the 7,000 foot high Mt. Zomba . Note the wonderful angle of Mary's kneeling figure, with its arching line from knee to feet at the back of the figure.
