Ox (India)
This unusual nativity set was made in India with figures of wood, detailed with inlaid copper strips. It could be used to cut out figures from clay or dough, or the figures could be inked and used for printing. The figures are all seen in profile and all details are created using the simplest of designs: curlicues, dots, dashes, circles, curves and crosses.
