Wise Men (U.S.)
This unusual four piece crèche places the Holy Family, Wise Men and two sets of shepherds and attendant angels on separate bases. The three Wise Men stand on a rocky hill. The moon and star on wires above them light their way to Bethlehem . They all wear gold, curly-toed “oriental” shoes and different headdresses with ornaments color-coordinated to their robes. Their gifts also coordinate: a vase with a blue finial, a bowl with a purple top and a chest with a pink lock.
