Donkey and King's Camel (Sri Lanka)
These painted wooden figures were made in a toy factory on the outskirts of the capital, Columbo, and are part of a festive nativity made in the form of a stage set. The king's camel, decorated with two richly patterned saddlebags, seems to carry a flowering bush, while the donkey carries a basket of fruit.
Giving opportunity of the day: Give a deserving family a basket of rabbits and chickens.
