Christ Child (Peru)
This Christ Child is from a large nacimiento created by Jesus Urbano and was displayed at the International Development Bank Peruvian Exhibition in 1983. It is painted in vibrant patterns and colors which mimic the exquisite textiles created in Ayacucho, Peru. The Christ Child is depicted as a mature child, wearing a round-brimmed hat. Note that He embraces the cross, His destiny.
