Joseph and Zebra (Kenya)
These figures are from a nativity set of soft dolls depicting the costume and culture of the African plains. Joseph wears beaded earrings and a matching beaded necklace. He wears a simple red tunic and holds a traditional paddle-shaped spear or staff. The batik giraffe has open eyes with eyelashes, an embroidered mane and a knotted tuft of black wool at the end of his tail.
