Shepherd (Bolivia)
This figure is from a
crèche made by the Aymaras and Quechua Indians. The shepherd wears a traditional native costume made from hand-loomed fabric. On his head is a knitted Andean hat with ear flaps. In his hand he is carrying tassels, used like a lasso for herding the sheep.
