An Evening with Bishop Eugene Sutton
SAVE THE DATE: On Friday, January 29, 2021, Bishop Eugene Sutton will speak about the Diocese of Maryland’s multi-year investigation of the legacy of slavery and racial inequity in church and society. That process culminated in a diocesan resolution passed at their convention this year to establish a Reparations Fund. Come learn about the Diocese of Maryland’s experience as we live into our strategic goal to bravely uncover, understand, reckon with and act to dismantle racism within ourselves, our faith communities, the Diocese and our localities.
Registration for Convention and the Friday night event with Bishop Sutton will open on Monday, December 14.
