Clergy Compensation and Employment Guidelines
These documents include personnel guidelines for clergy including salaries, housing, insurance, pension, and other allowances. They are updated annually and include the most recent version of the compensation tables for clergy.

It is always appropriate to discuss the fee at the time the invitation to serve is extended. Please take into consideration the time needed for preparation, travel and in performance of the service you have requested.
Transportation reimbursement: If by privately owned automobile, the 2018 IRS business mileage rate for the use of a car is 54.5 cents per mile. For volunteer (donated services) the rate is 14 cents per mile.

The lay employment policies and guidelines documents include information on best practices, management, job titles, compensation, and benefit packages for lay employees in the church. These are updated annually and are the most recent version available.
