Angus Dun Fellowship Fund

This grant was established for the continuing education of canonical resident clergy in the Episcopal Diocese of Washington.

Bishop John Bryson Chane Scholarship for Social Justice

Established by the Episcopal Church Women (ECW) Board to honor the work of John Bryson Chane, 8th Bishop of Washington. Grants are awarded yearly to graduating seniors in the Diocese of Washington who have an interest in social justice.

Burlingame Fund

Provides free eye care and eyeglasses through referrals from Samaritan Ministry of Greater Washington.

Clergy Children Scholarships (Claggett Fund Grant)

Scholarships are available to the children of canonically resident clergy in the Diocese of Washington as grants toward their education expenses (private school grade through college.

Congregational Growth Grants

The diocese offers grants of $3,000 to $20,000 to support initiatives that foster collaborative partnerships in evangelism, worship, mission and justice work with underserved communities within the diocese.

Hunger Fund

The Hunger Fund provides grants up to $4,000 to programs that feed those faced with hunger and malnutrition problems in the Diocese of Washington.

Memorial Scholarship Fund

The Memorial Scholarship Fund, which was established in 1925, assists women in receiving post-graduate education for their careers in Christian ministries. Contributions are made by parishes in memory of deceased women. Applications are due to the ECW office by May 31st of each year.

This fund provides scholarships to minority students in residing in St. Mary's County in support of their college expenses.

The theme for 2018 United Thank Offering grants is "Becoming the Beloved Community:  Racial Healing, Reconciliation and Justice". The application is now available online.
