Youth & Family
The Youth & Family Ministry supports our parishes in their mission to help youth and families to grow spiritually. At the diocesan level, we offer youth and their families the opportunity to have a transforming encounter with Jesus Christ so that they can grow in their relationship with him and share Jesus’ love in their everyday lives.
All diocesan events are designed to complement and enhance formation opportunities at the parish level. The Youth and Family Ministry also equips and serves our youth and family leaders by providing opportunities for fellowship, networking and training.

The diocese offers resources for choosing a church school curriculum, studying the Bible, learning about Confirmation and helping youth leaders and parents to respond to the questions and challenges that arise in the lives of the young people whom they care about. Safe Church standards for youth ministers are also available.
Support of Youth & Family Leaders
Formation/Mission Clusters are gatherings designed for leaders responsible for family, children and youth ministries. These leaders may be lay or ordained, compensated or volunteer. Our intention is to gather leaders who oversee Christian formation for these age groups within the parish community. We meet quarterly for mutual support, skill building, collaboration and spiritual formation. For more information contact Mildred Reyes.
